Question Is the packaging secure and protected?
Answer

All our products are packed into a zip locked airtight bag. Each product will be packed securely in a well-sealed box for delivery. Items we source from other suppliers are also secure and well-packaged.

Question Where are your products packaged?
Answer

All Cornerstone Fine Foods products are packaged in Australia. Our suppliers are Australian-based retailers and manufacturers.

Question What is the shelf life and expiry date for your items?
Answer

Shelf life and expiry dates vary from product to product but on average once opened the shelf life is 3-6 months due to the air tight zip bags that keep the products fresh. The expiry dates also vary but are on average 6-12 months from purchase.

Question What’s your process after purchase?
Answer

Once payment is made you will be sent an invoice via email. Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to be processed. After your order is processed it will be dispatched for delivery. Delivery time depends on your location, for more information please visit our shipping information page.

 

International Shipping

Question After payment has been made, what is the next step?
Answer

You will receive an invoice via email after you have made payment. Our team will then start preparing your order for International shipment. It takes around 5-10 business days to process and prepare your order.

Question What’s the processing time for my items to be delivered to me?
AnswerThe total average time between placing your order and receiving your products will be around 4-6 weeks. Once Cornerstone Fine Foods have prepared your order, we will hand over your package to our shipping agency who will prepare the shipment to be sent via sea freight departing Melbourne, Australia. This takes an additional 1 week to process. It takes around 4 weeks for goods to reach Colombo. Once it has arrived in Colombo, the item will be sent via TNT delivery to your doorstep within 3-5 business days.
Question How will I stay informed about the status of my order?
AnswerEach customer will be notified once the shipment has left Melbourne. Our team will be available to answer any questions or guide you through the process until the goods reach you. Once the shipment has left Melbourne, we will not have updates on the status of your order until it researches Colombo.
Question Why should I pay for the custom duty costs?
AnswerIn line with other international online retailers’ shipping to Sri Lanka, the buyer bears the custom duty costs. For example, when clothes are purchased from international online retailers, you also bear the custom duty taxes.

 

Question What if I am not at my nominated address when the TNT tries to deliver the goods?
AnswerThe TNT representative will call you on the nominated number that you provide us and will inform you that they are at your premises. If you are not present or reachable, they will leave a message to arrange an alternative delivery time and date.

Question How often do you ship items to Sri Lanka?
AnswerWe have weekly shipments leaving Melbourne for Sri Lanka.

Yes, all deliveries within Australia will have a tracking number and require a signature on delivery. This information will be sent to you once we have handed the goods to the Sendle.
